Thank you for your analysis of my chances at these schools. It's always VERY refreshing when one receives such a prompt and tremendously helpful email to a service on the Internet. I simply must tell my friends about your website. [New Mexico junior]
thanks so much for the compliments! i didn't expect nearly that thorough a response to that form, i figured it would basically be one of those automated ones, just with someone rating the writing sample. anyway, this was a very nice surprise, thanks for all the feedback. [Texas senior]
Thanks you so much for your time. Your review of my stats gives me some hope for my future at a topnotch college. :) [New Jersey junior]
thank you very much for evaluating me so quickly! i really appreciate your comments and i'm grateful for the information you gave me. [Singapore junior]
Thank you for giving me the advice. I found your website through Yahoo. I think the advice you gave me was excellent. [North Carolina junior]
I wish I knew...no - rather, I wish I CARED to know what the selective college admissions process truly entailed before it was too late. I do have a brother, and I have advised him to seek your services (which have been truly insightful and helpful I might add). I thank you for your help in the past, and I thank you for taking the time to read through one last email. You will hear from my brother soon, who is currently an 8th grader. Please stay in touch, if possible. [Michigan senior]
I would like to thank you for all the support that you gave me during my college application process. As it turned out, I got into every college I applied to, which is somewhat of a surprised to me. UVA (where I'm heading), William & Mary, U of Richmond, James Madison U, and Virginia Tech honors. Once again, thank you for all of your time and help during this arduous process. [Virginia senior]
I truly appreciate your time, patience, and generostiy in reading what I have submitted above. I feel very fortunate and honored to know such a service organization as yours. [Taiwan junior]
I was glad to find your web site, as I haven´t anybody here in Bolivia that can give clear advice on this complicated subject. [Bolivian parent]
Hi! First of all, I would like to thank you for your time and attention to read through the materials I have submitted, and most of all, your patience and effort to answer all questions in great detail. I truly appreciate everything you've done. I find your comments insightful, and they are helpful to me in determining my own "range" of schools that I should apply to in the near future. After I read your email, I also have greater awareness of how increasingly competitive these top schools have become. I am not discouraged by how many of those schools from list are actually my "reach schools," however. I think it is always better for me to know now than to know after I have sent the applications and find out that half the schools I applied to are actually reach schools. All I know is that I got comments and feedback from an intellectual and insightful person and that I truly appreciate anyone who would take the time to read and respond to the information I submitted. I must say that college advisors are extremely important to us students. So please do not say that you are "merely" a college advisor. I am sure that you have positively influenced many students by helping them to decide which colleges are the best for them. I hope we can stay in touch and I will be glad to tell you where I will be studying a year from now! [Taiwan junior]
Those students who are looking for great inspriration and obtaining college information can find your page by typing admissions to highly competitive colleges under the search area on the bottom of their screen. Thanks for all the great info, it really helped a lot. [North Carolina junior]
You might remember me from back in December; I was the guy . . . in central PA who was trying to get into Princeton ED for engineering. Well, I was deferred. At that point, I tried to forget about Princeton altogether; I assumed that my chances of acceptance were zero. I've spent the last several months focused on going to Cornell or Penn M&T. I received an incredible shock on Saturday: an acceptance letter from Princeton! I had forgotten that my application was still under consideration at all; you can imagine how I felt upon seeing that huge Priority Mail envelope. Actually, I was accepted everywhere I applied (including Penn M&T). The choice wasn't hard for me though, particularly considering Princeton's generous financial aid package. This is really incredible. This year's acceptance rate makes my acceptance seem even more phenomenal. I am certain that your support contributed substantially to my success in the admissions process, and I am very grateful. If you want to talk about Princeton (or about anything else), I'd be more than willing to do so. [Pennsylvania senior]
I just wanted to express my appreciation toward your taking time to review my statistics. I find this a very helpful sight and let me know if i can aid you in promoting this sight in the Asia Area becuase i live in Taipei, Taiwan and the sister schools around asia would certainly benefit from your services. [Taiwan junior]
just a quick note to let you know that [son’s name] was accepted at harvard, penn. cornel, and uc berkley..he has decided to go to harvard..thank you for your help in getting him over some of the entrance hurdles. [California parent]
Yes, it's been a difficult couple of weeks, but your help and advice has gotten me moving again to do what needs to be done and stop dwelling on things I cannot change. Concerning your comment that] "Miracles do happen."--Obviously, we connected with you. Thank you for your perspective, compassion and insights! Sincerely, [New England parent]
Thank you so much for your concise and prompt response. My school does not have a guidance counselor that deals with students interested in going somewhere besides a junior college or state universities, and I appreciated the advice.

I am interested in doing the online e-counseling . . . Your comments were a real eye-opener to me. I knew things would be competitive, but I felt like I had a chance because I thought admissions officers would take into account the educational limitations of my surroundings. [Mississippi junior]
thank you so much for your evaluation of my stats. as it is already may 1 i would like to tell you that i have decided to attend a very fine university. . . i am going to attend cornell university in the fall . . . i just thought i would tell you of my plans. thank you once again for your help and your website was really helpful.
[New Jersey senior]
